The Greystar Summer Internship Program is a 10-week immersive experience where you’ll work on meaningful projects, develop in-demand skills, and connect with professionals shaping the future of multifamily housing. As a Greystar intern, you’ll be hired into one of our core business functions—Development & Construction, Investment Management, Property Management, or Enterprise Services—and contribute directly to the work of that team. While your day-to-day role will focus on your assigned area, our curated programming will give you insight into all areas of our business, helping you understand the bigger picture of how we lead the industry. Your internship experience will be enriched through: Executive Speaker Series with Greystar leaders Business Segment Trainings & Deep Dives Mentor Relationships Site Visits to active projects and communities Community Outreach opportunities Networking and Coffee Chats with professionals across the organization You’ll also complete and present a Final Capstone Project—highlighting your learnings, sharing your ideas, and showcasing your potential to make an impact. The Greystar Intern Program will run from June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026. The compensation for this position is $25/hour. We do not want housing cost to be a reason you do not apply for this internship. Greystar offers interns the opportunity to apply for a need-based housing stipend and requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Our Internship is an immersion into the multifamily construction industry, providing an opportunity to gain hands-on skills while working on Greystar’s portfolio of multimillion-dollar construction projects. As an in-house general contractor, every project requires open communication, a focus on quality, and a commitment to every detail.

  • Assist project team in management of overall site, subcontractors, and inspection of completed work
  • Handle project controls management, including requests for information, submittals, document management, change management and quality control
  • Participate in project planning meetings and reviews
  • Assist the preconstruction team in performing quantity take offs, developing bid packages, soliciting bids, and preparing estimates
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively track, report, and manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment with a wide variety of people, including owners, architects, subcontractors, and business leaders
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality
  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related major
  • Graduating between December 2026 and May 2027
