About The Position

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Dallas, TX. This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Hands on experience with Primavera P6, MS Project, Milestones Professional. Learn to create and update Construction Baseline Schedules. Collect progress updates. Create Visuals and Mine Project Data from multiple sources for Project Dashboards. Shadow Construction Coordination Meetings on mega-projects across the country. Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks. Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff. Meets required schedules while producing quality work. Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study. Internships at AECOM are designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, construction management, and infrastructure projects that have a real-world impact, furthering their education while enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs. Requirements

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Game Design, or similar discipline
  • Must have completed at least 1 year of study
  • Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply
  • Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a large general contractor
  • Previous relevant internship experience
  • Exposure to other construction-based computer programs
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
