About The Position

The Construction Integration Lead plays a critical role in bridging construction operations and physical security system deployment. This individual serves as the primary liaison between Digi, general contractors, project managers, and field teams to ensure seamless coordination, technical accuracy, and successful project execution. This role requires a strong understanding of construction environments, access control hardware, and field operations, along with the ability to proactively identify risks, solve problems, and drive projects forward.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of experience in construction coordination, low-voltage systems, or physical security integration
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and working with general contractors
  • Hands-on knowledge of access control systems, door hardware, and field installation practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex project environments
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with physical security platforms (e.g., access control, video surveillance systems)
  • Background in low-voltage integration, electrical systems, or field engineering
  • OSHA certification or familiarity with job site safety standards
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact between Digi, general contractors (GCs), project managers, and partners
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure alignment with construction schedules and milestones
  • Support project managers in managing field execution, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Proactively identify and resolve job site conflicts, delays, and coordination challenges
  • Provide subject matter expertise in access control and low-voltage systems
  • Ensure proper system functionality, including fail-safe vs. fail-secure operation and life safety compliance
  • Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and site conditions; make recommendations and redlines as needed
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and next steps
  • Build strong working relationships with GCs, project teams, and partners
  • Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with leadership on resolution strategies
  • Identify recurring project challenges and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve documentation, communication workflows, and execution standards
  • Translate complex construction coordination challenges into scalable, repeatable solutions
