Position Summary We are hiring for a Construction Installation Technician (s) with at least 3 years of experience to work in our Construction department. This position assists the Superintendent in the field building CNG Fueling Stations on project sites that vary in location/geography. Installation Technicians can be based anywhere in the U.S. with reasonable access to an airport.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in a construction field or similar work environment.
- Minimum three years of hands-on electrical/mechanical experience.
- HS Diploma or Equivalent.
- Demonstrated hands on, general construction skills.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
- Experience with power tools and calculating measurements.
- Forklift and man lift experience.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to manage all travel plans (Concur).
Nice To Haves
- Wide range construction technology knowledge and materials preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with tube or conduit bending preferred.
- Engine mechanical skills preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in setting up the job site and container.
- Reading plans.
- Building racks for gas piping and tubing.
- Supporting welders.
- Install stainless steel tubing systems.
- Conduct pressure tests.
- Manage miscellaneous tasks related to concrete work.
- Forklift and man lift operation.
- Following and enforcing safety protocols.
- OSHA 30-hour class and monthly safety classes.
- Other duties as required.
