About The Position

The Greenridge Group is a prime contractor and consulting firm specializing in Project and Construction Management for major public-sector agencies. They are seeking an experienced Construction Inspector to support large-scale airport and public infrastructure projects with LAWA. In this role, you will be part of the Quality Assurance & Construction Inspection team, ensuring work meets project specifications, safety standards, and building codes across active terminal and tenant improvement projects.

Requirements

5+ years of construction inspection experience (building projects required)
Strong understanding of LA City Building Code and ADA requirements
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and documents
Strong communication and documentation skills
Physically able to walk long distances, climb, and access active construction areas
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
CAL OSHA 30
Fall Protection / Confined Space Awareness
NFPA 70E (for electrical-related work)

Nice To Haves

Experience inspecting large-scale public or airport projects
ICC Certification or Deputy Inspector License

Responsibilities

Perform daily inspections across building and terminal construction projects
Review plans, shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Ensure compliance with building codes, ADA requirements, and project specifications
Document daily activities, track progress, and report issues or deficiencies
Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams
Support progress tracking, quantity verification, and payment validation
