About The Position

Our team of skilled experts delivers a vast array of professional services to clients across five major markets: architecture, land development, water resources, transportation, and energy. We are looking for a Construction Inspector in various locations throughout West Virginia, Southeast Ohio, and Southwest Pennsylvania. As a Construction Inspector, you’ll play a crucial role in overseeing and ensuring the successful implantation of water-related projects. Your responsibilities will span various aspects of construction, documentation, quality assurance, and communication. In this role, you will be asked to: Participate in on-site activities, collaborating with residents, property owners, and contractors. Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications. Keep detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes. Maintain accurate redline or as-built drawings to document project modifications. Monitor work to prevent construction defects. Ensure that the project meets quality standards and specifications. Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including owners, engineers, and contractors. Coordinate information flow to keep all parties informed. Travel as needed to project sites. Travel may involve extended stays away from your home location during the week.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10, CPR, and first aid certifications are highly desirable.
  • Experience as a treatment plant operator and certifications (Class 3 and up) in water treatment plants is advantageous.
