Your Opportunity Stantec is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to contribute to projects in Pennsylvania. We oversee projects involving roadways, structures, interchanges, and toll plazas. Offering expert consulting from design to construction. We are managing complex, large-scale commercial projects from conceptual planning through design, construction, and occupancy. Requirements

  • High School diploma or relevant experience can be used in place of diploma
  • Minimum of one year construction inspection experience on major roadway and/or bridge inspection projects
  • Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike experience
  • Must have a minimum of one of the following: Current NICET Level 2 or higher, NECEPT Asphalt PennDOT NECEPT Concrete certification

Responsibilities

  • Review drawings to prepare for the inspection
  • Conduct field measurements to establish quantities for pay item documentation
  • Inspect work site for proper traffic control setup
  • Inspect erosion control devices, ensure they are maintained and that they are in compliance with applicable permits
  • Monitor and record materials certifications in accordance with the client’s procedures
