About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Inspector to join the Project Services (PS) group. The role involves daily reporting of vendor activities on Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) projects, including SFU, MDU, and FTTB projects, from construction to test and turn-up. Candidates must live within one hour of Scranton and be able to work onsite daily. Valid US Driver's License with clean driving record.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and self-directed
• Read and interpret FTTX prints
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player able to adapt to diverse members
• Flexible to work outside normal business hours periodically
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Collect and report daily vendor activities
• Review project drawings and specifications
• Monitor fiber optic plant construction per customer and manufacturer standards
• Visit project sites to evaluate progress and address Project Manager/customer concerns
• Report production using Sitetracker mobile system
• Support material inventory tracking
• Enforce safety rules and best practices
• Implement local construction methods and procedures
• Perform quality inspections using checklists and Sitetracker documentation
