Driggers Engineering Services, Inc. is seeking dedicated Construction Inspection and Materials Testing Lab & Field Technicians to join our team in Clearwater, FL. As a firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, construction inspection, and materials testing, we have been serving the Tampa Bay area and West Central Florida since 1982. Our projects are primarily local, allowing our technicians to work closely with the community and contribute to various construction projects. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and advance in the field of engineering testing. The role involves both laboratory and field work, where technicians will be responsible for testing soils, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials. This hands-on position requires individuals to frequently lift or move materials weighing up to 35 lbs, and occasionally heavier weights with assistance. Candidates must possess a valid Florida driver's license or be able to obtain one, and must meet the driving record requirements set by our insurance. Additionally, as we perform work at public schools, employees must be able to pass a background check. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $35,000 to $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
