About The Position

This position uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and directly related experience to provide strategic direction and overall management of the Construction Industries Division (CID). The division serves as a regulator, through the Uniform Licensing Act, for the construction and building community in our state.

Responsibilities

• Licenses contractors in many different license classifications
• Provides strategic direction and overall management of the CID
• Has a multitude of responsibilities statutorily, regulatory, and administratively
• Hiring and supervising staff
• Reporting to the Construction Industries Commission on ongoing activities
• Overseeing the administration of the CID
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Managing budgets and resources
• Collaborating with other state agencies and stakeholders
