About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and hardworking Construction Helper to join our team. A Construction Helper is responsible for aiding in the maintenance, repair, and installation of pumps and tanks. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company. MUST have previous construction experience. Must be willing to travel throughout North and South Carolina. Preferred candidates will have piping experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the construction industry
• Must be willing to travel
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective communication skills
• Must be reliable and hard working
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of petroleum equipment including fuel dispensers, under dispenser containment sumps, in-tank equipment such as submersible fuel pumps and drop tubes with overfill prevention valves.
• Work on storage tank top equipment such as tank sumps, product spill containers, and manholes.
• Handle single and double-wall fiberglass systems and flexible piping systems.
• Assist with fusion welded piping systems, product entry fittings, and repair fittings.
• Manage piping trenches and manhole replacements.
