About The Position
The position involves performing new track construction or maintenance tasks associated with railroad tracks. The role requires operating heavy or specialized equipment, including but not limited to skid steer, plugger, spike puller, bolt machine, and compactor/roller. Safety is emphasized, and the individual must practice safe working habits and ensure proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is being used. The job requires comfort in working outside in all weather conditions and effective communication with the team and supervisor throughout the job process.
