About The Position

Charlotte Labor Source is seeking qualified Commercial Construction Onsite Workers, whether entry-level or experienced. As a commercial construction laborer, you will play a vital role in the construction, renovation, or maintenance of commercial buildings, participating in various tasks that ensure the successful completion of projects.

Requirements

• Ability to lift approximately 35-40 lbs.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Willingness to undergo a successful drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in commercial construction is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in construction.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the physical construction process, including site preparation, foundation work, framing, clean-up, and finishing work.
• Install fixtures, flooring, and other building components as required.
• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to local building codes and regulations, participating in regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Collaborate with construction supervisors, project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and fellow workers to complete projects successfully.
• Utilize a variety of construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and used safely.
• Assist in the loading, unloading, and movement of construction materials, including lumber, steel, concrete, and pipes.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and coordinate tasks with other workers.
• Complete daily reports, work orders, time sheets, and other paperwork to track project progress and material usage.
