About The Position

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The position involves supervising construction site employees, overseeing the proper implementation of safety procedures, assisting with the planning and scheduling of work to meet project needs, managing and optimizing operations at the site, and communicating with the Construction Manager to ensure workload is scheduled and performed to meet project needs. Additional related job duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalency and prior relevant job experience
• Valid/Clean Drivers License is required
• Working knowledge of regulations and regulatory agencies, such as OSHA, EPA, and zoning law
• Understanding of the capability and proper utilization of machinery and equipment used in heavy/highway construction
• Willingness to work Monday-Friday Daytime and Night hours depending on project needs

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction site employees
• Oversee proper implementation of safety procedures
• Assist with the planning and scheduling of work to meet project needs
• Manage and optimize the operations at the site to include planning, personnel, equipment, quality, costs and maintenance
• Communicate and coordinate with Construction Manager to ensure work load is scheduled and performed to meet the needs of the project
• Perform other related job duties as assigned
