About The Position

a well-established and growing multifamily construction firm based in El Paso, is seeking a FINANCE MANAGER to join their team on-site. This is a hands-on role supporting both daily accounting functions and monthly financial reporting, with strong collaboration across project teams. What You'll Do as the Finance Manager: Manage accurate data entry and account coding in QuickBooks Enterprise Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow Process and run payroll regularly Prepare and maintain financial reports, general ledger entries, and monthly project reporting Complete monthly close procedures and generate consolidated financial statements Assist with payment applications and ensure proper backup documentation Support the preparation and review of lien waivers, subcontractor payments, and schedule of values Work with project managers to maintain project budgets and financial accuracy Prepare checks and ensure timely payments to subcontractors Support internal controls and compliance protocols Assist with audits, tax filings, and state/federal documentation Take on general administrative tasks and support senior leadership as needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a bookkeeper or accounting specialist in construction (multifamily strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise
  • Solid understanding of payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger management
  • Experience preparing payment applications and lien waivers
  • Familiarity with tax prep and compliance processes
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize in a dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Experience supporting external audits and working directly with project managers
  • Exposure to construction project accounting software beyond QuickBooks
