Verdantas is seeking a Seasonal Construction Field Technician in Plymouth, MI, to support field inspections, quality control testing, and environmental sampling for construction projects. Join a mission-driven team where your hands-on work directly supports sustainable infrastructure and environmental stewardship across Michigan.

  • Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials (concrete, soil density, and asphalt density) on construction sites
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • A two-year college degree or greater in the civil engineering field is preferred
  • Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
  • Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
  • ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are a must
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs periodically
  • Applicant must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance
