Verdantas is seeking a Seasonal Construction Field Technician in Plymouth, MI, to support field inspections, quality control testing, and environmental sampling for construction projects. Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- ACI/MCA Concrete Field Testing Technician and Nuclear Safety Certified certifications are a must
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 80 lbs periodically
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and proof of insurance
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload
- Proficiency with standard computer programs, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, internally and externally
Nice To Haves
- A two-year college degree or greater in the civil engineering field is preferred
- Experience working in the construction materials testing field is desirable
Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control testing of various construction materials (concrete, soil density, and asphalt density) on construction sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Maintains the technical knowledge and professional certifications needed to perform job duties
