About The Position

Triad Associates (part of the Concordia Wireless family) is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carriers to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects. To support our growing client base, we are seeking experienced candidates interested in a Construction Field Manager (Travel) role. Truck is provided along with robust per diems and travel benefits.

Requirements

  • Must have experience managing and/or supporting tower construction crews and/or subcontractors
  • A WORKING Manager who is willing to work alongside their crews and get their hands dirty is required
  • Experienced Foremen and Electricians are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to travel out of state 90% of the time for projects (Midwest region including IL, OH, IN, MI)
  • Able to climb ladders and assist with the use of construction equipment
  • Able to lift 50 lbs. of equipment/materials
  • Able to work some weekends during deadline

Responsibilities

  • Involved in daily field activities with no hesitation doing partial labor work
  • Assist with site walks & field walks
  • Travel around the Midwest to support multiple constructions crews/sites
  • Support and help Foremen, Technicians, and/or Subcontractors
  • Communicate with clients on current and pending status of jobs
  • Request quotes and order materials from various vendors for materials and services
  • Attend conference calls and participate in project meetings
  • Create daily and weekly schedules to support the management team
  • Coordinate the final inspections of jobs as required
  • Request COIs and surety bonds for permits and business licenses
  • Arrange for construction testing and engineering services if necessary
  • Ensure job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
  • Monitor and assist with field productivity, cost control, and scheduling
  • Performs other duties as assigned
