SYSTRA's expanding Construction Management business unit is seeking Construction Field Engineers Mechanical to support our current and upcoming rail mass transit construction management assignments on construction projects in operating railroad environments in the New York City Area, including several NYCT Station Improvement Projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in construction management or field engineering, preferably in rail or transit projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NYCT projects or familiarity with New York City transit systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or working towards it.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

Responsibilities

• Support construction management assignments on rail mass transit projects.
• Assist in the oversight of construction activities in operating railroad environments.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report on any issues or delays.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors to facilitate project execution.
