About The Position

The Construction Fabricator/Installer position at BioPark involves performing skilled construction tasks including modification, fabrication, and installation of various construction projects and exhibits. Requirements

• Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in construction.
• Three (3) years of experience in general building or facility construction.
• Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or ability to obtain by date of hire.
• Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within 6 months from date of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Construction design, fabrication, and welding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of operations, services, and activities of a facilities construction and renovation program.
• Familiarity with building and construction codes and regulations.
• Ability to design, read, and interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches.

Responsibilities

• Perform journey level skilled construction modification, fabrication, and installation.
• Design, lay out, repair, and modify a variety of construction projects and exhibits.
• Conduct various construction activities including carpentry, painting, welding, masonry, roofing, and basic electrical and plumbing maintenance.
• Operate and maintain equipment related to assigned responsibilities.

• Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $49,046.40 - $51,126.40 per year.
