We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator in our Issaquah, Washington office. Why Gray? Requirements

  • The new team member is required to have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, with a minimum of five years’ experience in estimating or project management.
  • Must be physically located in the Issaquah, WA area.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews data and blueprints to determine material and labor requirements and prepares itemized lists of cost estimates.
  • Compute cost factors and prepare estimates used for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work, preparing bids, change order pricing, vendors or subcontractors' agreements, and determining cost effectiveness.
  • Conducts special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or effect cost reductions.
  • Consults with customers, subcontractors, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
