About The Position
Premier Exteriors Construction Estimator (Exterior Cladding) This is a Hybrid position in Myrtle Beach, SC. Qualified candidates may work from home but must be willing/able to attend Monthly in-office meetings in Savannah, GA. Premier Exteriors is seeking a Commercial Construction Estimator who is experienced with Stucco / Exterior Cladding. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with Exterior Cladding. Requirements
- 3-5 years of commercial construction estimating experience
- Proficiency in construction cost estimating and project management software
- Bid projects and take them to the contract award phase
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Proficiency with Excel
- Knowledge of general construction
- Familiarity with construction drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
Nice To Haves
- Experience with siding, stucco & exterior cladding preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze construction drawings and specifications to accurately estimate costs
- Review project plans and proposals to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation
- Develop detailed project budgets and cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain the best pricing and terms
- Prepare accurate and timely bid proposals for clients
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and accurately estimate costs
- Maintain project cost data and continuously update estimates throughout the project lifecycle
Benefits
- Full-time Salary $75,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience
