About The Position

The Construction Equipment Worker Trainee position is designed for individuals who will perform limited and routine tasks in the construction, repair, and maintenance of roads, flood control channels, and other public works facilities. This role is primarily a training opportunity, allowing candidates to gain hands-on experience in various construction-related tasks while working under supervision. Requirements

• Must have a valid Class C Driver License at the time of application.
• Three months of experience in construction, maintenance, fabrication, mechanical, industrial, or general labor.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or higher education.
• Experience in the maintenance and/or construction of roadways, flood control facilities, or similar public works settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform limited and routine tasks in the construction, repair, and maintenance of roads and public works facilities.
• Assist in the operation of construction equipment under supervision.
• Participate in training programs to develop skills necessary for advancement to Construction Equipment Worker.
• Respond to emergency situations as required, ensuring timely arrival at assigned locations.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
