About The Position

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc (GTA) is looking for an Construction Engineering Technician for our office in Wilkes Barre, PA. Requirements

Reliable Vehicle: Your wheels are your ticket to success. Make sure you've got your own transportation, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.

Outdoor Enthusiast: If you love the great outdoors, you're in the right place!
Strength and Stamina: You should be able to lift up to 75 lbs solo and up to 100 lbs with assistance. Expect lots of bending, hammering, and other repetitive movements.
Safety First: Safety toe boots are a must for this position.

Responsibilities

Hands-On Field Work: Collect fresh samples of concrete and conduct quality control testing to ensure standards are met.
Lab Support: Transport and log concrete and masonry samples, assisting with lab procedures.
Flexibility: Be prepared for overnight and weekend shifts.
Quality Assurance: Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Documentation: Prepare detailed field reports and test summaries to track progress and outcomes.
Collaboration: Engage with contractors, clients, and GTA colleagues to evaluate site conditions and participate in project meetings.
