In the role of Construction Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to assist the Resident Engineer, Office Engineer and Construction Engineer on all administrative tasks of the project in accordance with contract and Sound Transit specifications. You will assist the RE team with management of contract documents, distribution and tracking of comments between the design team, construction team and contractor for submittals, RFI's and work directives. You will support the field inspection team with daily reports, photo documentation, constructability reviews and overall contractor compliance. This role will provide you with real-world experience on exciting projects and the opportunity to connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs. You will apply standard engineering techniques and procedures and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 2 years completed toward degree in Civil Engineering with 3.0 GPA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry.

Responsibilities
