About The Position

The Construction Engineer Lead will oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of the construction process are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Construction Engineer Lead will coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors, as well as liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is completed successfully.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in construction management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate Constructor (AC), or LEED accreditation) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the construction process, from planning to execution and completion.
  • Supervise, motivate, and lead construction teams, including subcontractors and vendors.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
  • Maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on site and that workers are trained in safety procedures.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Identify potential risks related to construction activities and take proactive steps to mitigate those risks.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, change orders, contracts, permits, and other essential documentation.
