This position conducts real estate administration activities for the tactical, strategic and program support within CRE and with Business Unit clients on real estate initiatives. This role involves managing the planning, design, and construction of various types of infrastructure improvements including Mechanical and Electrical systems and renovations of existing spaces within a variety of building types including AT&T telephone, administrative, and technology spaces to optimize employee work productivity, guarantee infrastructure reliability while controlling cost. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, architecture, construction management, or real estate development, with the ability to oversee projects from concept to completion.

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to develop design concepts based off scope of work developed internally or by client.
  • Review and approve design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Manage contractor relationships.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, financial reporting, and forecasting.
  • Approve project expenditures and ensure financial compliance.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and presentations to communicate project status and milestones.
  • Utilize various corporate and organizational systems to report and update budget, scope of work, schedule and other adds or changes to the project.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Prefer 5+ years of experience in real estate design and construction management.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
