About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma or similar qualification.
• No prior experience required; this is an introductory role.
• Completion of a 2-year apprenticeship program.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and verbal (preferred).
• Ability to work productively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, dedicated, and self-motivated.
• Ability to report to work consistently per work schedule.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Previous craft labor experience (preferred).
• Ability to work well independently and with supervision.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training (preferred).
• Must possess and maintain a valid US driver's license.
• Willingness to travel to project locations.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments with varying temperatures and conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, or climb for long periods.
• Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments as required.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Complete project activities while developing practical and professional skills as part of the apprenticeship program.
• Perform construction tasks in accordance with management instructions and industry best practices.
• Engage in safety meetings and demonstrate safe work habits daily.
• Complete all classroom and online training requirements of the registered apprenticeship program.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment through housekeeping duties.
• Comply with company requirements established in the Integrated Management System (IMS) and safety procedures.
• Perform a variety of construction tasks, including site preparation and material handling.
• Work under the direction of the Solarstall manager and Journeymen to accomplish tasks.
• Safely use and maintain assorted hand and power tools.
• Accountable for all tools and materials at the end of the shift.
• Observe and communicate any anomalies or issues during work.
• Accomplish basic paperwork and electronic documents as required.
