Requirements

Proven track record in managing costs for hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data center projects.
5+ years of data center construction scheduling and/or project management expertise.
Deep understanding of cost drivers in data center development, including MEP-intensive systems, high-capacity electrical infrastructure, cooling technologies, and IT/telecom integration.
Current knowledge of material costs, labor rates, and supply chain risks in key markets.
Experience aligning cost management with scheduling, procurement, and risk management processes.
Strong communication and reporting skills to deliver actionable insights to developers, owners, and construction teams.
Experience in contract support including negotiation, change order (CO) review and analysis, monthly invoicing, client billing, and change management in large, multi-stakeholder projects.
A proactive, self-starting mindset with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Nice To Haves

5+ years of data center or mission critical experience.
Demonstrated success managing complex, phased scheduling strategies in high-performance projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end cost control services including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within financial parameters and with maximum value.
Project Team Collaboration: Support Project Managers by owning all cost-related processes for both Prime and Subcontractor scopes. Serve as the central point for financial coordination, allowing PMs to focus on schedule, quality, and delivery.
Tool Optimization & Process Efficiency: Analyze current tool usage (particularly Procore) and identify opportunities for data streamlining and process improvement. Recommend and implement additional systems/tools as needed to support client objectives.
Cross-Phase Coordination: Facilitate smooth hand-offs between Preconstruction, Construction, and Operations teams regarding cost-related matters. Attend key Preconstruction meetings to ensure knowledge continuity across project phases.
