About The Position

Greenlight Networks is actively recruiting a Construction Coordinator to support our expanding fiber network build in Baltimore. This role plays a critical part in overseeing new fiber construction, make-ready coordination, contractor management, and construction change management. This is more than a scheduling role — we are looking for someone who can analyze data, address field challenges, and help drive projects to successful completion. You will collaborate with internal crews, contractors, engineering teams, and utility partners to ensure projects stay on schedule, on budget, and aligned with company standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, project coordination, telecommunications, or related field
  • Experience managing construction schedules, contractors, or field operations
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting updates to leadership and cross-functional groups
  • Ability to operate within multiple online database or tracking systems

Nice To Haves

  • Telecommunications or fiber optic network construction experience
  • Familiarity with outside plant (OSP) construction phases and terminology
  • Experience supporting technical or infrastructure-based services
  • Background in make-ready coordination or utility partnership management
  • Experience in consumer-driven or high-growth operational environments
  • Experience working with GIS, construction tracking systems, or contractor management tools

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and review construction requests; assess risk and impact
  • Develop project plans, define task sequencing, and establish work schedules
  • Assign projects within database systems to contractors and stakeholders
  • Track and report deployment activity to Construction leadership
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure job intervals are met
  • Conduct project site visits as needed
  • Review and approve material requests and contractor awards
  • Identify alternative solutions when project plans shift or encounter challenges
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to management
  • Support implementation of construction build plans across multiple neighborhoods
