About The Position

Construction Coordinator Project Resources Group (PRG) is looking for a motivated Construction Coordinator to join our Drive-Out Team in the Nashville area. In this field-based role, you’ll be the first line of defense protecting critical telecom infrastructure — monitoring construction activity, identifying risks, and working with contractors and internal teams to keep our fiber network safe and reliable. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy being out in the field (not behind a desk), this is an opportunity to make an immediate impact while building a rewarding career in telecommunications.

Requirements

  • Experience in utility locating, telecom construction, or damage prevention (preferred).
  • A valid driver’s license , insurance, and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed at the federal rate).
  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with contractors and field crews.
  • Independence, situation awareness, and comfort working outdoors in all conditions.
  • Commitment to safety, accuracy, and customer service excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities are a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Drive assigned routes across the Nashville market to spot construction near existing telecom or fiber facilities.
  • Observe and document field conditions — from locating paint and markers to potential digging or equipment activity.
  • Talk directly with excavators and site supervisors to understand their project plans, methods, and timelines.
  • Assess risks to buried infrastructure and escalate urgent concerns to PRG’s Special Response Team (SRT).
  • Submit clear, detailed field reports with photos, notes, and GPS data.
  • Conduct follow-up visits to verify progress and ensure network safety.
  • Report safety or quality issues like low-hanging lines or damaged enclosures — following our “See Something, Say Something” safety commitment.
  • Partner with PRG leadership to improve field awareness and proactive risk mitigation.
