About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support outside plant (OSP) and inside plant (ISP) telecommunications projects. This position blends field work with office-based design support.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of telecom FTTH/HFC field construction experience.
• Strong understanding of fiber construction methods, engineering principles, and applicable dig laws/regulations.
• Ability to read and Understand FTTH/HFC Telecom Construction Prints
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and PDF editing tools.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors, travel to daily field locations, and perform physical site review tasks.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-construction site walkouts.
• Determine and recommend best fiber construction routes for OSP builds.
• Identify permitting requirements for aerial/underground construction.
• Locate and document existing utilities.
• Identify construction-related issues affecting proposed fiber routes.
• Determine ISP pathways to MDF/IDF termination points within buildings.
• Draft proposed route designs using PDF tools or similar software for final construction packages.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM) and Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) packages.
• Track and report weekly construction activity.
• Manage permitting with municipalities and compile project documentation.
