About The Position

The Construction Coordinator supports the project management team by coordinating pre-construction activities, managing permitting and inspection processes, onboarding subcontractors, and ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate. This role is essential for maintaining project momentum and compliance from project initiation through construction.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with permitting processes and construction documentation is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the project team and stakeholders
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Bluebeam and Builder Trend is a plus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the permitting process, including scheduling inspections and working with agencies (e.g., road commission, septic/well, utility providers).
  • Manage all pre-construction activities to ensure project start package is complete, loaded into BuilderTrend, and project is ready to commence.
  • Support Project Managers in development, coordination, and updating project schedules.
  • Ensure subcontractor insurance information is current and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the selections team to confirm inventory availability and readiness of select materials.
  • Review and maintain door and window schedules for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform additional coordination duties as assigned to support the project team.
