The position involves performing a full range of field duties including construction management, quality assurance, and safety monitoring functions for MEGA Civil and Military Construction projects. The incumbent will review plans and specifications prior to contract advertisement to determine practicability from a construction viewpoint, observe and investigate construction at all stages to identify conflicts and/or problems, mentor and train Junior Construction Representatives, and ensure compliance with contract specifications and drawings. Additionally, the role includes serving as the Area/Resident Office Collateral Duty Safety (CDSO) and reviewing contractors' partial pay estimates while monitoring their schedules.
