We’re looking for a Construction Contracts Manager to join our team in a fully remote role, based out of Denver, CO, supporting a wide range of construction projects and clients. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of contracting process and contract issues, design, procurement and construction regulations and terms and conditions.
  • Ability to analyze and negotiate contract requirements and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and company objectives and approach.

  • Minimum of five years of experience in contract administration role in a corporate environment
  • Design/Construction experience, gained through work in the industry, internships, or cooperative education programs is preferred.

  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) and/or Certified Contracts Professional Manager (CCPM) preferred
  • CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED

Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain contract tracking processes and policies.
  • Develop external relationships with client contract management counterparts, client procurement and third-party personnel, as may be required.
  • On all standard and nonstandard contracts, provide redlined recommendations and often negotiate directly with client attorneys or purchasing staff until consensus has been reached.
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports, executed documents and other documents for all projects.
  • Monitor transaction compliance (milestones, deliverables, invoicing etc.).
  • Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance.
  • Ensure contract close-out, extension, or renewal.
  • Plan, manage, and coordinate all aspects of the project schedule, scope, and cost.
  • Value Engineer the project by identifying opportunities for savings and ensuring material substitutions are equal.
  • Communicate with and manage project stakeholders.
  • Prepare Project Management plan and fee budget/proposal at the project outset.
  • Evaluate documents and communicate the client’s specific goals and expectations to all project team members.
  • Develop and communicate action plans that will lead the project team throughout the project, beginning with the initial Project Management Plan.
  • Re-evaluate the contract scope of work as the project progresses against the goals, expectations, and the needs of the client, and recommend adjustments as necessary.
  • Coordinate with cost management group as applicable for preparation of cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
  • Organize and maintain framework for project team processes and record keeping of electronic and physical documents.
  • Drive the permitting process by designing team documents to be submitted to various local, state, and federal agencies and ensure the applicable permits are moving through the process efficiently.
  • Ensure the project design management continues to follow the client project documents such as budget, scope, schedule, and client's design standards.
  • Prepare cost and revenue projections.
  • Other duties as assigned.
