This position is working within the Development Services Department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the electrical field. Work experience should include a minimum of four years of hands-on experience working with electrical wiring, equipment installation, or maintenance. Knowledge of the National Electric Code and current construction procedures/technologies and the ability to interpret codes in the field will be required to perform daily inspection duties for this position. The candidate will be required to obtain a state-issued Inspector’s license within one year of their hire date. This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to interact with contractors and homeowners and represent the County in a positive manner.
