Now, let's see if this opportunity is the right challenge for you. MORI is hiring a Civil Engineer to support the FAA's Infrastructure Engineering Center under the NISC IV program. You'll lead the design, review, and oversight of critical FAA infrastructure projects-ranging from remote towers to facility renovations-with a focus on safety, reliability, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and review civil engineering plans for FAA construction and renovation projects
- Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical evaluations
- Support field activities including Joint and Contractor Acceptance Inspections (JAI/CAI)
- Prepare reports and ensure documentation aligns with FAA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complete engineering packages
Requirements
- Bachelor's (4+ yrs exp) or Master's (2+ yrs exp) in Civil Engineering
- Experience with site development, tower/shelter design, utilities, and concrete/foundation work
- Familiarity with NEPA, stormwater permitting, and construction risk management
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project, CWP)

- FAA-specific systems: NASET, NASEB, CWP
- HAZMAT, HVAC, grounding, fire detection, and security systems
