About The Position

We are currently seeking a Construction CFO for our civil construction operations that will be based in the Nashville, TN area or performed as a remote work from anywhere within the USA. The role will oversee all finance, banking, insurance, and accounting for the firm. It is the top strategic financial position reporting to the president. Projects include all types of transportation and civil work including bridges, railroad, highway and marine. This position is available due to the firm's recent company growth and the retirement of an incumbent.

Requirements

• Stable job history with experience at a civil construction company (EPC, D/B, Construction Management, General Contractor).
• Experience with budget preparation, strategic planning, internal controls, tax, audit functions, and related software.
• Strong communication, time management, personnel management, client/vendor management, and leadership skills.
• Preference for candidates who have functioned as a construction CFO, but will consider Controllers or VP Finance ready for advancement.

Nice To Haves

• Local experience or networks (not necessary as relocation is open to candidates from anywhere in the USA).
