Lightspeed Restoration is seeking an experienced Construction Carpenter to support restoration repair projects following water, fire, and storm losses. This role focuses on residential and light commercial repairs, ensuring properties are rebuilt safely, efficiently, and to a high standard of quality. Requirements

  • 3+ years of carpentry or construction experience preferred
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with residential remodeling or restoration work a plus
  • Restoration or insurance repair experience
  • Drywall finishing and paint prep
  • Familiarity with moisture-affected materials and rebuild processes
  • Basic understanding of job scopes and change orders

Responsibilities

  • Perform framing, drywall installation and finishing, trim work, and basic carpentry repairs
  • Repair and rebuild structures damaged by water, fire, or storm events
  • Install doors, windows, cabinets, baseboards, and other finish components
  • Assist with flooring removal and installation (LVP, laminate, hardwood repairs)
  • Read and follow work orders, scope notes, and basic plans
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
  • Communicate professionally with project managers, technicians, and customers
  • Follow company safety protocols and industry best practices
  • Assist other trades as needed during restoration projects
