About The Position

Ensure the building’s physical structure, exterior façade, and attached equipment are maintained at optimal performance levels through effective daily supervision. Perform and complete assigned work orders and repairs on all aspects of the building with professionalism, consistency, and attention to detail. Accurately design and estimate display construction projects and store remodels, including pricing materials and labor. Execute approved projects in a timely manner while working collaboratively as part of the facilities team under the direction of the Facilities Manager. Use appropriate materials and methods to make repairs and complete installations as required. Provide support on additional department tasks and special projects as assigned by the Facilities Manager.

Requirements

Ability work and function within a TEAM environment.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks; Flexibility in work schedule
Vocational/trade school degree and /or 3+ years of experience
Knowledge of trades such as framing, trim carpentry, tile and finishing
Familiar with operation of power tools, shop tools, miters and steel
Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word, Internet research engines, OSHA 10 Certification

Responsibilities

Design, spec, price out and build displays in a timely manner as envisioned by the sales team
Modify/ remodel the store in an effort to support sales goals
Modify store foot print to accommodate seasonal sales aspects
Repairs as necessary to any and all aspects of the physical building
Shop maintenance and assisting the FM with any building related tasks as necessary
