We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction and Remodeling Foreman to lead our construction teams in various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and remodeling, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and remodeling, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
Proficient in project management and budgeting.
OSHA certification or willingness to obtain one.
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, carpenters, and other skilled tradesmen.
Assign tasks, set work schedules, and ensure that work is completed on time and within budget.
Monitor the progress of projects and ensure that quality standards are met.
Enforce and promote a safe working environment, ensuring that all workers adhere to safety regulations and use proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Conduct safety meetings and training as needed.
Coordinate with project managers to plan and organize construction and remodeling projects.
Order materials, equipment, and supplies as required for each project.
Ensure efficient use of resources and manage project budgets effectively.
Inspect work to ensure that it meets quality standards and complies with project specifications and plans.
Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
Maintain clear and effective communication with project managers, clients, and subcontractors.
Report project progress, issues, and changes to upper management as necessary.
Identify and resolve construction-related problems, obstacles, and challenges as they arise.
Make decisions on-site to keep projects on track.
Mentor and train construction workers and apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
