We are seeking an experienced Construction and Project Systems Application Lead to oversee and support enterprise applications that enable construction, project controls, and estimating processes. This individual will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, driving process improvements, and leading a team to deliver exceptional support and solutions. Experience with Procore, Sage Estimating, Primavera P6 or similar platforms is highly desirable. The Team Black & Veatch’s Business Enablement consists of critical groups that help enable the organizations people, projects, and businesses to be as successful as possible. Functions in this group include Digital & Information Technology, Global Finance, Global Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, and Government Affairs and Real Estate and Building Services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience supporting construction technology solutions, preferably in project controls and estimating.
All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of construction processes, including estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
Hands-on experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms.
Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data flows.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies
Prior experience in a lead role within IT or construction technology
Experience applying ITIL principles in IT service management environments

Responsibilities

Lead the support, configuration, and optimization of Construction and Project Systems applications.
Manage application roadmap
Serve as the primary liaison between IT and construction teams to ensure effective use of technology in field operations.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for application issues.
Manage integrations between construction applications and other enterprise systems (DocuSign, Bluebeam, etc).
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Estimating, Project Controls, and Construction workflows.
Mentor junior staff in application support and best practices.
Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and compliance with company standards.
