Requirements

3-5 years of relevant experience in construction inspection or material testing.

Nice To Haves

Material testing experience highly desirable.
Safety certifications (OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR) preferred.
ACI or WVDOH testing certifications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Perform sampling and field testing on construction materials such as concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and soil.
Interpret civil construction plans and specifications.
Monitor construction progress, adherence to plans, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain detailed records of project quantities, daily reports, and changes.
Keep accurate redline or as-built drawings to document modifications.
Communicate effectively through written reports and facilitate information flow among stakeholders.
Ensure quality standards and prevent construction defects.
Adapt to different job site locations and schedules, including night shift roles
Travel as needed, including periodic and extended stays.
Complete certification courses to enhance skills and knowledge.
Willingness to learn additional roles and support other divisions when workload demands.
