About The Position

We are seeking an eager and highly motivated Construction Analyst to join our new construction vertical. This will be a dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities including data analysis, AI implementation, and project administration. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and a self-starter. This position is located in Boise, ID.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction, data analytics, or project administration.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet) and data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, codes, and LIHTC compliance.
  • Ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, data science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience developing or implementing AI/machine learning solutions in a business environment.
  • Familiarity with LIHTC regulations and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of all construction activities, ensuring that the project is on schedule and in line with budget expectations.
  • Work alongside the project team to track progress and resolve any potential issues.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive cost data for construction projects. Develop and manage databases and dashboards for cost tracking and forecasting.
  • Work with internal team to develop an excel based estimating workbook.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement AI-driven tools that enhance data utilization for underwriting new deals.
  • Integrate predictive analytics and machine learning models into construction workflows.
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks, including documentation, scheduling, procurement, and communication.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of project status and financials.
  • Oversee compliance for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit projects, including documentation, tenant eligibility, and audit preparation. Coordinate with legal and finance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, maintain accurate records, and support quality control inspections.
  • Work closely with construction, development, and technology teams to streamline processes and resolve issues.
  • Ensure that all construction activities comply with OSHA safety standards.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining safety programs and inspections on-site.
  • Collaborate with the project team to streamline communication and resolve potential delays or conflicts.
  • Assist the Project Manager in managing subcontractor performance and scheduling.
