About The Position

The Construction Analyst will support the Project, Construction and Operations' Manager in all phases of project delivery, from predesign through construction closeout. The Construction Analyst will work collaboratively and independently to support the Team with document control, reporting, construction site inspection, design review, permitting, quality control, and other duties, as necessary or directed to be performed across all NPWS projects. CACI is offering an exciting opportunity for an accomplished management and technically oriented individual. You will be part of a team supporting CACI Modernization and Construction projects around the U.S. and its territories. As a team member, you will be working with the CACI National Public Warning System (NPWS) Program Manager, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Operation’s Manager, Engineers, and other project personnel to enhance program performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting performance data and translating it into actionable recommendations.
  • Project execution and/or construction experience: 3 years.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
  • Ability to prepare and analyze cost estimates.
  • Experience facilitating document tracking, distribution, and control.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with program performance analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Experience in Federal Government Contracting.
  • Experience in construction design planning or design/build project.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development, monitoring, and analysis of program-wide KPIs, such as schedule and cost variance, quality, and safety.
  • Analyze program performance data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Help create and implement mitigation strategies to address performance issues.
  • Assist in preparing regular program performance reports for stakeholders, and communicate progress and actionable recommendations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned from project execution and performance data.
  • Support project and construction managers in all phases of project delivery.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change order requests, and other project documentation.
  • Assist in updating project schedules and evaluate project performance.
  • Secure subcontractor and material/equipment quotes.
  • Track/record site deliveries.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.
  • Track project closeout activities and data, including punch lists completion, warranty documents, and as-built drawings.
  • Perform incremental site inspections.
  • Assist in obtaining building, trade, and other permits.
  • Maintain accurate logs, record time on jobsites, take and upload photos, submit construction permits online.
  • Provide weekly and other incremental reporting.
