About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 12 states with over 3,500 employees. RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States. We have 86 quarries and 56 asphalt plants across Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Texas, Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Rogers Group is currently seeking a Construction Admin Assistant for the Greer, SC area for our Carolina SMA operations, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. This role provides administrative support for construction projects, including assisting with contract documentation, bid preparation, and project coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in growing their career in construction or office administration. Prior experience is helpful but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Reliable and team-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative, office, or construction-related experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparing and reviewing contracts for bids and projects
  • Support coordination of contract documents between teams
  • Help track change orders and project updates
  • Assist with subcontractor paperwork and document collection
  • Maintain organized files and tracking logs
  • Support bid packages and project documentation
  • Help with job setup paperwork for accounting
  • Track deadlines and assist with follow-ups
  • Perform general administrative and project support tasks Assist with job setup documentation for accounting, including contract details and required backups
  • Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy contract files and logs
