About The Position

The position involves providing basic patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, focusing on patient safety and comfort. The role requires both independent work and collaboration with a healthcare team to deliver high-quality care to various patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, telemetry, and psychiatric patients.

Requirements

• Ability to observe and report patient conditions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients to ensure their safety and the safety of staff.
• Monitor patients' conditions and behavior, reporting any changes to professional staff.
• Clean and straighten patients' rooms.
• Assist in turning and repositioning patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
• Utilize bed/chair alarms appropriately for fall prevention.
• Document activities performed on the Frequent Observation flow sheet accurately and timely.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
