About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Consolidation and Reporting Senior to support the organization’s financial consolidation and reporting processes. This role will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements. The Consolidation and Reporting Senior will assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation journal entries. The role will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial results and coordinate closely with accounting, FP&A, tax, and external auditors to support reporting and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, public experience preferred.
  • Understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Vena or Alteryx preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the consolidation process of multiple entities, ensuring intercompany transactions are appropriately eliminated
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines
  • Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, meeting all financial reporting deadlines.
  • Assist with internal and external auditor requests.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to collect, analyze, and report information necessary for internal and external financial reports.
  • Prepare schedules and perform analytics required for reporting and management review.
  • Maintain and organize financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of financial information.
  • Uphold compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations.
  • Assist management with ad-hoc procedures and special projects as needed.
