About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Consolidation and Reporting Manager to support the organization’s financial consolidation and reporting processes. This role will be responsible for managing and assisting with the preparation of consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements. The Consolidation and Reporting Manager will oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and consolidation journal entries. The role will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of consolidated financial results and coordinate closely with accounting, FP&A, tax, and external auditors to support reporting and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting; public accounting experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask in a dynamic work environment

Nice To Haves

  • CPA certification preferred
  • Experience with Vena or Alteryx preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the entire consolidation process of multiple entities, ensuring intercompany transactions are appropriately eliminated
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated internal and external financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and SEC guidelines
  • Ensure the timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, meeting all financial reporting deadlines
  • Assist with internal and external auditor requests
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to collect, analyze, and report information necessary for internal and external financial reports
  • Drive close acceleration, process improvements, and control enhancements
  • Provide clear variance analytics and other schedules required for reporting and management review
  • Maintain and organize financial databases to ensure accuracy and accessibility of financial information
  • Manage and mentor accounting staff while creating and promoting a supportive work environment
  • Uphold compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) regulations
  • Assist management with ad-hoc procedures and special projects as needed
