About The Position

The Consignment Sales Specialist serves as the brand ambassador for Gateway Classic Cars, focusing on increasing showroom inventory through acquiring new and repeat consignment business. This role involves sourcing vehicles via online platforms and in-person events, promoting consignment services, and ensuring clients understand the value of partnering with the company.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of customer service experience.
• 2 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of classic cars.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• CRM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquiring new and repeat consignments through outreach methods such as attending car shows and meetings with car shops.
• Making a minimum of 125 outbound calls weekly and additional points of contact via text and email.
• Confirming and setting appointments with potential clients.
• Creating customer rapport from the first contact through the consignment process.
• Stocking in new inventory and staying updated on consignment paperwork.
• Managing customer renewals and hosting car club shows at the showroom.
• Working at Gateway Caffeine and Chrome events and the Holiday Party.
• Training new Inventory Consultants and providing backup to other showrooms as needed.
